Custom Water Feature and Landscaping Tracy Prince and Cathy Schaffer

Tracy Prince and Cathy Schaffer moved to the Bonney Lake area from Colorado for their careers with Boeing. They were longing for a piece of home in their backyard. We created them this masterpiece.

The project details

This project took 3 months to complete, we faced an unusually steep grade, heavy rainfall, and of course flu season!

The area was dug out by both hand and excavator to create the water basin, and each fall tier. We filled each layer with water proof lining, and FOUR kinds of rocks to create the falls.

We used a mix of grasses, maple and evergreen trees, succulents and deciduous shrubs to complete the look.

Outdoor lighting makes the space dreamy at night. Each of the main fall lights are under-lit making the water glow as it flows to the bottom. NOT one detail was missed. Check out the progress and final pictures below!

We used 4 different kinds of rock to build the falls. Granite, Green River Rock, White River Rock, and Basalt.

We hand selected each plant from Puget sound Plants in Olympia- the premiere nursery in Washington with over 200 acres of plants.
