Upgrading Auburndale Park for The City of Auburn

We love our city, and making our parks a safer place is an honor. The City of Auburn hired us to make some improvements to our beloved Auburndale Park including removing an old chain link fence, replacing it with a pressure treated split rail style fence, creating a new parking lot, clearing and grubbing for new gravel trails, widening the main opening, and removing an old broken plastic playset, to be replaced by a new modern steel one.

Before we started, the park was beginning to look a bit tired, the chain link fencing was worn out, and broken from falling branches, the openings were not wide enough for a troller to fit through and we knew something needed to be changed…

We started on the fence first, removed all of the old chain link fencing, and replaced it with a pressure treated split rail style fence, much more attractive and with wider openings for electric bikes and strollers…

After the fencing came the new parking lot. There was only parking on one side of the park, making it a very long walk to get from one side to the other over this multi acre park…

We removed over grown roots, and branches that were blocking the paths, to create new smooth pathways covered in fresh gravel…

Last but not least we removed an old broken plastic playset, and the City added a new heavy duty metal one…
