Custom Water Feature for Shayne Kimber

When Shayne purchased his home he wanted to do something grand. With a 7,000 sqft home and a 5 acre lot lined with cherry blossom trees and its own private lake, we knew it had to be good. This pond sits outside the front door nestled alongside the driveway. Imagine having this to come home and relax in front of every night!

Digging this pond out was quite a challenge. 34’ wide, 3’ at the shallow end and 7’ at its deepest. Shayne wanted it big enough to swim in but look as natural as possible.

Building the falls! Some of these rocks weigh as much as a car! Each rock is placed by hand and excavator. Who said playing Tetris as a kid wouldn’t come in handy!?

Finalizing the plants and laying the flagstone pathway

We created a custom pump house that looks exactly like the surrounding rocks out of rebar and concrete. This stores all of the plumbing, electrical and pumps for the water feature in a way that no one can see! It blends right in with the scenery.
